Private guided tour

The King's Christiansborg

New Year's levees, royal audiences, meetings in the Council of State and royal gala dinners – many of the official royal acts and activities take place at Christiansborg Slot.

Highlights of this tour

This tour provides a close look at royal events and activities at Christiansborg Palace and insight into the monarch's duties. For more than 1000 years, Denmark has been ruled by a king or a queen, and today, HM Frederik X performs many of his official duties at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen.

New Year's levees, royal audiences, meetings in the State Council and royal gala dinners are held in the Royal Reception Rooms, which are the focus of this guided tour. We also stop by the Royal Kitchen, the Royal Stables and the Palace Chapel for a detailed look at the past and present role of Christiansborg Palace in royal life.
