Overview of rooms for hire

The King’s Chamber

While Koldinghus was a royal castle, the King’s Chamber was used for exhibitions and storage. Today, it serves as a modern and well-suited meeting room in a quiet corner, away from everyday museum activities.

The Flora Danica Room

The Flora Danica meeting room is situated as a ‘pocket’ in the Flora Danica exhibition at the Library Hall. The high-ceilinged room has a Louis XVI-style decor with columns and a gallery.

Frederik IV’s Hall

With its bright open space, Frederik IV’s Hall is well suited for festive events in a rugged and authentic setting, with direct access to the Castle Courtyard.

Christian III’s Chapel

Christian III’s Chapel is well suited for talks, presentations and wedding ceremonies. The former chapel was converted into a lecture hall and auditorium with a historical gallery, beautiful influx of daylight and exquisite architectural details.

Church Hall

Experience the magnificent atmosphere of the Church Hall, with its stone floor, vault-shaped chandeliers and floor lamps simulating the columns in the chapel. The Church Hall is perfectly suited for wedding ceremonies, concerts, talks or receptions.

Great Hall

In the past, when the Great Halll was used for princely visits and gala events, the room was decorated with draped fabric, and the fireplaces were lit. Today, the Great Hall remains a perfect setting for grand parties, official events and receptions.

Ruin Hall

Hold your event in the Ruin Hall, where historical 16th-century elements meet modern architecture. The tall glulam columns and steel walkways create a grand and rugged atmosphere that is perfect for parties, receptions or official events.
