What did kings and queens of the past talk about?

And what did it sound like when Christian V invited people to a party in the knights' hall at Rosenborg Castle? Step inside the royal world of the 17th century, where sound researcher Christine Jeanneret and composer Martin Daske talk about the development of the sound experience 'The Sound of Rosenborg', which they have developed for Rosenborg Castle.

'The Sound of Rosenborg' is an immersive sound experience that invites the audience on a journey back in time, when Rosenborg Castle was a royal residence. The sound experience is an artistic interpretation of history. Based on extensive sound research by Christine Jeanneret from the University of Copenhagen, we get an impression of the ceremonial world of the 17th century and the concepts of honor, splendor, and staging that characterized it. Christine Jeanneret, in collaboration with composer and sound designer Martin Daske, has created eight living scenes based on historical sources, which are experienced from the audience's own smartphones.

The artist talk is free and takes place in the Kinght's Hall at Rosenborg Castle. Please note that this event is in English and there is a limited number of places.
