Christian V’s Hall (room 6)
This room was originally Kirsten Munk's (Christian IV's second wife) living room. However, when Christian IV's son, Frederik III, lived in the castle, it became part of the King's suite as an anteroom to the Marble Chamber. The objects in the room are connected to Christian V.

From Kirsten Munk's living room to Frederik III's anteroom
This room was originally Kirsten Munk's (Christian IV's second wife) living room. However, when Christian IV's son, Frederik III, lived in the castle, it became part of the King's suite as an anteroom to the Marble Chamber. The fireplace dates back to Christian IV's time and originally stood in Frederik IV's Hall but was moved here during a renovation around 1700. It was also during this renovation that the ceiling acquired its current appearance. Notably, the central painting depicting an orchestra can be traced back to Christian IV's era.
The walls were covered with the woven tapestries that still hang here today at the end of the 17th century. These tapestries were made by M. Wauters and purchased by Christian V in the Netherlands.
