Fabergé's table lighter

This unique table lighter was created by the renowned jeweller Fabergé and is shaped as an elongated egg standing on four deer hoofs. The deer hoofs are a typically playful feature of Fabergé's designs.

The lower part of the egg is mounted on a small gold stand with an encircling ring, bands set with diamonds, and four festoons joined together by square gold mounts, each set with a ruby.
